Thomas Prag
Thomas Prag currently works as a media and PR consultant and is chairman of Media Support Solutions which specialises in media for development with projects in Africa, Afghanistan etc. Thomas has lived and worked in the Highlands since 1978 and was the member for Scotland on the Radio Authority board and chairman of their Access Radio pilot scheme. Thomas was involved in setting up BBC Radio Highland in Inverness in 1976 and then became founding managing director and latterly chairman of Moray Firth Radio, where he spent nearly 20 years and won several Sony Awards. Thomas has extensive past involvement in media industry affairs and is heavily involved in a number of business, public and voluntary roles, especially in the Highlands where he is currently a Governor of the UHI Millennium Institute and chairman of its Development Trust. He was elected a Fellow of the Radio Academy in 1997.
