• Presentation focusing the Committee’s mind on issues affecting older people’s use and engagement with communication services and networks

European Commission Directives 2006/7

• A review of current and upcoming relevant European legislation, including the Audio Visual Media Services Directive, the Universal Service Directive and the Electronic Communications Services Directive

Digital Switchover: Committee Discussion

• Review of developments from DUK and Ofcom. Committee Discussion.

ACOD Research

• Following Research sub-group meeting, discussion of scope and remit of research to be commissioned.

Television Access Services Update

• Peter will discuss the TVAS Statement and briefly speak on the role of access services on new media platforms
