Ofcom’s Welsh Language Scheme

This Scheme sets out how in the conduct of its public business, Ofcom will treat the English and Welsh languages on the basis of equality. The Scheme has been prepared under Sections 12 to 14 of the Welsh Language Act, 1993 and in accordance with guidelines issued by the Welsh Language Board under section 9 of the Act.
