Problems with your landline phone -
Privacy issues - nuisance and sales calls and faxes
If you don’t want to receive faxes from sales and marketing firms, you can add your details to a list, run by the Fax Preference Service, which makes it illegal for a company to send you a fax for marketing purposes in the future.
The Fax Preference Service can be contacted at:
| Fax Preference Service www.fpsonline.org.uk Email : fps@dma.org.uk Tel: 020 7291 3330 |
DMA House 70 Margaret Street London W1W 8SS |
It takes about 28 days after you’ve registered before the ban on sending you faxes takes effect. If you are still receiving faxes after 28 days, then you can complain to the Fax Preference Service, using the contact details above.
