Programmes on the radio
Ofcom is responsible for the maintenance of standards in radio programmes and programming.
We do not make any radio programmes ourselves – instead, we regulate what broadcasters produce principally by means of a set of rules known as the Broadcasting Code, to which all broadcasters must adhere.
We do not listen to radio programmes before they are broadcast, and much of what is broadcast on the radio is live in any case. If you would like to complain about a programme that has yet to be broadcast, you should contact the broadcaster directly.
However, if the programme has been broadcast and you have concerns about it then please see http://www.ofcom.org.uk/complain/progs/. You can either contact the broadcaster, or make a complaint directly to us.
