TV
Television is changing. Analogue TV services – which give viewers a choice of BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 and Five via a roof-top or set-top aerial – will be phased out between 2008 and 2012. Instead, viewers will benefit from the increased channels and choice offered by digital television. Most UK households already watch digital TV on at least one set in the home. Digital TV is available via an aerial (Freeview), Satellite (Sky), cable (NTL Telewest) or over broadband.
