High Definition Television (HDTV)
Currently there are no television sets available which can receive HDTV broadcasts on their own – you need an external HD compatible set-top box.
Increasing numbers of HDTV channels are now available. There are now about a dozen channels and some Video on Demand (VOD) services providing HD programmes.
