James Murdoch was appointed as a Director of BSkyB in February 2003 and CEO with effect from 4 November 2003. Until then he was Chairman and CEO of Star from May 2000, and Executive Vice President of News Corporation and a member of News Corporation's Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Mr Murdoch serves on the Board of YankeeNets and the Board of Trustees of the Harvard Lampoon. He attended Harvard University.
