Peter Phillips
Partner, Strategy & Market Developments, Ofcom
Peter Phillips joined Ofcom in March 2006 as Partner, Strategy & Market Developments, with responsibility for its strategy, policy development, consumer policy, chief economist and market research teams.
Prior to Ofcom, Peter was Director of Business Development at the BBC, leading the award winning sale of BBC Broadcast in 2005. His previous posts at the BBC include Chief Operating Officer, BBC News; and BBC Head of Corporate Planning.
Previously he was an investment banker in the mergers and acquisitions team at SG Warburg (now UBS) and a senior manager in the strategy consulting firm Bain & Company, following a 1st class degree in Mathematics from Oxford. He is a trustee of the Crafts Council and an adviser to the Royal College of Physicians.
