Errors in Gazette Notices of Variation to Full and Intermediate Amateur Radio Licences

The Agency regrets that a printing error occurred in the Gazette Notices of Variation dated 26 July 2003 and in the printed Notices enclosed with copies of BR68 and BR68/I since that date.

The error relates to the schedule to the licence between 1.850 MHz and 2.000 MHz. (The present version incorrectly shows 1.850 MHz to 1.950 MHz.) Within this band the permitted power, shown in column 4 of the schedule, should read 32 W (15 dBW).

A new version of the schedule will be available shortly for distribution with new licences, and by post on application. The Notices of Variation on the amateur page of the RA website have already been corrected.

Amateurs are requested to honour the 32 W restriction to avoid interference to other authorised users.
