Notification of proposed change to the Schedule to the Amateur Foundation, Intermediate and Full Licences.
Notification
This notification is given under section 169 of the Communications Act 2003 and is addressed to all holders of an Amateur Radio Licence.
The notification allows all amateurs the opportunity to make representations. Replies to this notification should arrive no later than 23 October 2004.
Proposal
It is proposed to vary the Schedule to the Foundation, Intermediate and Full Amateur Licences to insert a row below the row 7.000-7.1000MHz.
| 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7.100-7.200 | Secondary. Available on the basis of non-interference to other services (inside or outside the United Kingdom) | (Not Allocated) | 400W (26dBW) | Morse Telephony RTTY Data Facsimile SSTV |
The effect of this change will be to extend the current 7MHz band from 100kHz to 200kHz between 7.000 and 7.200MHz but the portion between 7.1 and 7.2MHz will be Secondary and no interference may be caused to other services.
