Ofcom Changes to Business Radio Licensing in the Nations
Ofcom is changing the way it provides Business Radio Licences in the Nations. From 31 July 2007, Ofcom will centralise licence delivery and support from its National Offices in Cardiff, Glasgow and Belfast into the Ofcom Licensing Centre in London.
Ofcom is introducing new systems that will make the licensing process more effective. In order to continue to provide a high quality service to all licensees, Ofcom has decided to centralise all licensing into one location to ensure consistency of service for the whole of the UK. The Ofcom Licensing Centre is working with each of the National Offices to ensure a seamless handover to the Ofcom Licensing Centre.
Also licensees are no longer able to pay fees by cash and postal order at the National offices. Payments should be made by cheque, credit card, direct debit or bank transfer only.
All methods of payment will be listed on new application forms and on licence renewal notices.
