Air Traffic Management - ground based radio equipment
On 20 October 2005 there will be a change in the regulations for placing ground-based Air Traffic Management (ATM) radio equipment on the market.
New equipment will first be required to satisfy the requirements of the Radio Equipment and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment Directive 99/5/EC (The R&TTE Directive).

Equipment intended for use in the UK, must meet the UK Interface Requirements which ensure that radio equipment makes effective and appropriate use of the radio spectrum.
