Information on Recognised Spectrum Access grants
Installation or use of radio equipment in the UK requires a licence unless exempted (see http://www.ofcom.org.uk/radiocomms/ifi/ for information on licensing and how to apply for a licence).
Recognised spectrum access (RSA) complements licensing by providing a means for Ofcom, in carrying out its spectrum management functions, to recognise use of spectrum that cannot be licensed. RSA is so far only available for radio astronomy. This section provides information on applying for RSA and further guidance.
