The RA carried out a number of awards before Ofcom was formed. Details are available on the RA’s legacy section.

• 10 GHz, 28 GHz, 32 GHz and 40 GHz Award
• 1781.7-1785 MHz paired with 1876.7-1880 MHz
  Licences granted and award completed in May 2006.
• 412-414 MHz paired with 422-424 MHz
  Licences granted and award completed in October 2006
• 1452-1492 MHz (L Band)
• 1785-1805 MHz in Northern Ireland
  Licences granted and award completed in May 2007
