Outline of the programme

Previous SES-funded projects have investigated the spectrum efficiency benefits that could be achieved through the adoption of advanced technologies. Much of this research has concentrated on the Fixed Wireless Service. However, adoption of advanced technology is not cost-free and, given the legacy of existing point-to-point links, the route to realising the benefits of these technologies is not straightforward.
