Aiding Spectrum Liberalisation
Liberalisation is a key part of Ofcom’s spectrum management agenda, as set out in our Spectrum Framework Review. There are a number of technical issues that need to be considered to ensure that liberalisation will proceed smoothly including the development of spectrum usage rights and the design of new modelling tools that will allow the interference generated by different uses within the same spectrum to be examined.
