Biographical note

Chris Kenny joined Oftel as Director of Regulatory Policy in February 2000 and became Director of Compliance in February 2002. His earlier career was in the Department of Health, where his posts included Principal Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Health and Head of Consumer Affairs for the NHS and in HM Treasury, where he had responsibility for economic relationships with Eastern Europe and the Former Soviet Union.

At Oftel, his directorate covers all of Oftel’s competition and interconnection dispute work, as well as leadership of all policy and compliance work on broadband and broadcasting and oversight of the transition to Ofcom.
