Compensation claims

Oftel has no powers to resolve claims for compensation. If you are unable to come to an amicable agreement with your telephone company then you could consider taking the matter to the Office of the Telecommunications Ombudsman (Otelo) if your service provider is a member (click here for more details).

Alternatively you could look into seeking independent legal advice (your local Citizen's Advice Bureau is a good place to start).
