Agenda:
1. Dialling statistics

3. Update from operators / DQ service providers
4. Emergency contact details
5. Oftel website update
6. AOB
1. Dialling stats
Beatrice advised that the latest stats (calls to 118xxx as % of
total calls to DQ) were:
Sunday 17/08/03 38.2%, 18/8 30.3%, 19/8 33.01%, 20/8 34.5%
2. DAL update
Mike advised that 192 carousel testing was complete. MS also thanked
operators and DQ service providers for their detailed feedback and
input. MS also that the 153 carousel had been delayed due to a loss
of spreadsheet data on his side, but that comments were required
by 11am, or earlier if possible.
MS also confirmed that DQ SPs would be sent passwords and access
details later today to enable them to view their call statistics.
3. Operator / service provider updates
Beatrice advised that BT Wholesale data changes were tested and
ready to go. BT would be having an internal conference call at 08.30
on Sunday to check progress. It was noted that calls to agency 192
services would be cut-off on Saturday evening. It was thought unlikely
that there would be any serious problems and BT's System X and AXE10
experts would be on call in case of difficulties with particular
switches. BMO mentioned two possible scenarios. One was that an
unrelated problem with a particular BT switch made it not respond
to the data change. In this situation, as soon as the switch was
functioning again and stable, the data change could be applied.
The second scenario was that there would be a data error in one
or more switches. BMO felt this to be unlikely as the data change
being made was relatively straightforward.
John Bailey reported that C&W did not foresee any problems but
had people on call just in case and Steve Evans advised that O2
believed they had everything in hand on their network,
AC also noted that Thus had advised him that their freephone numbers
were up and running.
The various DQSPs present did not have anything to add at this point.
4) Emergency contact details
Oftel had issued the first contact list. AC advised Oftel would
be sending out a second list as 3 other companies had asked to be
listed. IM suggested that, in the first instance, the DAL directors
should be used as the first point of contact for DAL / Broadsystems
queries. This was because MS would be on holiday (although contactable
via mobile) and because Broadsystems had had direct contact with
DAL thus far and any contact from other parties might cause confusion.
Ian Watson also noted that he should be the primary contact for
BT Directories due to a delay in Gareth Morgan's flight back to
the UK.
5) Oftel website update
CW advised that Oftel had updated its DQ consumer page to include
links to network operators' pricing information where this had been
provided.
6) AOB
Tom Hickey asked if DQ SPs were content for their recorded announcements
to be passed to BT to be used in the event of a major outage on
the DAL / Broadsystems platform. CW stressed that this was a case
of planning contingency arrangements only. The Number, DQ UK, Conduit
and BT directories all confirmed they were content for their .WAV
files to be passed to BT. MS advised he would speak to the other
DQ SPs on the DAL platform and with their consent pass their .WAV
files to Ian Watson.
