Description
and Objectives
Review the narrowband
Internet termination market and apply appropriate regulatory remedies,
including call origination remedies that have an impact on this
market. It is intended that the bulk of activity in the analysis
phase will concentrate on a review of the Internet call termination
market, with an analysis of call origination being informed by the
review of the wholesale call origination access market. The review
will also consider potential leverage of market power from call
origination into Internet call termination.
- assess competition
in Internet call termination and identify if there are any players
with significant market power (SMP)
- link to the
conclusions regarding SMP in the wholesale call origination review.
- assess the
impact of remedies in call origination (NTS and FRIACO) and propose
appropriate remedies under the new Directives.
