Glossary

Information Note

Licences shown as:

Lapsed – the Licence was granted for a specific period of time that has now ended.

Revoked – the Licence has been revoked by the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry.

Dissolved – Schedule 2 of the PTO and Class licences (Revocation) allows the Secretary of State to revoke licences where the licensee company has been dissolved. Enquiries regarding the date of any revocation of a licence should be directed to DTI.

The status of those companies shown as dissolved has been checked against the Companies House database, and Oftel makes every effort to ensure that the information provided is accurate. However, Oftel can accept no liability for the accuracy and currency of the information. Readers should therefore refer to Companies House for the most up to date information on a particular licensee.
