has published a consultation document - Access
to Bandwidth: Shared Access to the local loop: Consultation Document
on the implementation of shared access to the local loop in the UK.
Their is also an associated press release. Comments on this consultation
are invited by 21 November 2000 and especially on Oftel’s preliminary
conclusions and proposals. There will be a further period of two weeks,
until 5 December 2000, for submission of comments on comments. Oftel
expects to issue a statement in December 2000. Comments should be
made in writing and sent to: Cristiana Vitale, Oftel Regulatory Policy,
50 Ludgate Hill, London, EC4M 7JJ.
