Oftel's Market Information Update is now published as two separate documents focusing on the Fixed and Mobile telecoms markets. The latest edition of the Mobile Update was published in May 2001 with the latest Fixed Update being published in July 2001. Both of these publications cover the third quarter of 2000/01 (Oct to Dec 2000). The Q4 publications should be available in August and September 2001.

BT is estimated to have a 70 per cent share of all fixed revenues
This ranges from 85 per cent of line rental to 48 per cent of international call revenues
