MSC Sub Group

The MSC sub group is looking into public/private availability of the 1949 Wireless Telegraphy Licensing and frequency assignment data . This is being carried out in two phases:

Phase 1 - a Public Access database for cellular sites in the UK Known as "Sitefinder".

Phase 2 - Provision of an Industry Database to aid:-

1. Spectrum Trading
2. Mast sharing
3. Interference Issues
4. Facilitate engineering/assignments.

The group has also been considering data disclosure issues
