DTI Press Release - 12 March 1998
The Radiocommunications Agency announced today that Subscription Services Ltd (SSL) will continue to administer Amateur and Citizens' Band Radio Licences into the next century. SSL have issued licences on the Agency's behalf since 1992. Their current contract was due to expire on 31 March 1998 but allowed for a further two year extension. This has been successfully negotiated and an extension has been granted until 31 March 2000.
The extended period allows SSL to continue to provide a high level of service to the Agency's customers.
