On 18 June 2001, the review published a consultation paper which sets out its initial analysis of the spectrum management challenge facing the Government, along with suggested approaches on which the review will be consulting in the next few months. The review welcomes responses from all interested parties. The date by which responses were requested was originally specified as 17 August 2001, to provide sufficient time for the review to analyse responses and consult further on the issues raised before submitting its report to Government. The review remains open to written responses after 17 August (in view of the practical issues faced by some organisations in reaching an agreed position on the review in the time available), but would request that interested parties make submissions as soon as possible after this date. Submissions to the review will be published on this website (Responses to the consultation paper), except where respondents have requested confidentiality for their response.
