The Wireless Telegraphy (Broadband Fixed Wireless Access Licences) Notice 2000 |
Pursuant to Regulation 4 of the Wireless Telegraphy (Broadband Fixed Wireless Access Licences) Regulations 2000 (SI 2000 No. 2039) which came into force on 18 August 2000, the Radiocommunications published today a Notice which specifies the rules and procedures for the forthcoming auction of licences for the use of radio spectrum in the 28GHz band and invites applications from potential bidders.
Both the Regulations and Notice first appeared in draft form for consultation (on 19 June 2000) and were reproduced (again in draft) as annexes to the Information Memorandum. The final version of the Notice includes minor corrections, amendments, cross-referencing and clarifications to the following areas:
Authorised Person, Bidder, Electronic Bidding Method, WT Regulations.
