Please note that due to the integration of Fixed Links assignment systems into RA's Unified Licensing and Executive System (RULES), all Fixed Link licence application forms may be subject to change. The RA8 form (see below) has been the first form to go through this process.
Customers using the Batch Interface will be allowed to continue with the current specification until April/May 2001. At this time, the revised Batch Interface will be required. The Specification will be distributed in early 2001.
RA8
Application for a Fixed Terrestrial (Point-to-Point) Link Licence (Rev 6,
August 2000)
The RA8 form has now been
extensively revised and should be used for all fixed terrestrial (point-to-point)
licence applications. A transition period will now be allowed where both rev.
4 and rev. 6 will be processed in parallel by RA.
It is anticipated that some further changes will have to be made to the RA8
to accommodate the requirements of integration of the FiLSM system into the
RA's Unified Licensing Executive System. This definitive release (rev. 7) of
the Application Form will be made available from Spring 2001. At this time,
Release 7 will become the mandatory application form.
