New Windfarm Co-ordination Criteria |
The Windfarm Co-ordination Crieria is here. When RA is notified
of a proposed windfarm, it will check to determine whether any part of that
windfarm falls:-

i) within 500 metres of the path between the terminals, or the terminals themselves, of a fixed point to point radio link/s operating at 1 GHz or above;
ii) within 1km of the path between the terminals, or the terminals themselves, of a scanning telemetry system/s operating within the band 450-470 MHz.
If either is true, then RA will:-
a) inform the notifier that the windfarm proposer must liaise with the appropriate fixed radio link or scanning telemetry system operator/s;
b) inform the fixed radio link or scanning telemetry operator/s of the proposed wind farm.
