IFPG The International Frequency Planning Group (IFPG) is an ad hoc group reporting to the Cabinet Official Committee on UK Spectrum Strategy. It co-ordinates UK Government departments' interests in proposals for, and results of, the work of the ITU and other specialised agencies, and in the deliberations of any other international organisations, in the field of radio frequencies. BGERCUK The European Radiocommunications Committee UK Briefing Group (BGERCUK) coordinates UK preparations for meetings of the ERC and agrees a brief for the UK delegation. Membership is drawn from Government departments and agencies as well as from industry. anthony.walker@ra.gsi.gov.uk
UKBGITU The UK Briefing Group for ITU Matters (UKBGITU) coordinates UK preparations for ITU conferences (other than the World Radio Conference and the Radio Assembly, for which see IFPG) and the ITU Council. UK ITU-R The UK ITU-R composes the chairmen of all the UK ITU-R Study Groups under the chairmanship of the Radiocommunication Agency's International Co-ordinator. Its purpose is to coordinate UK preparations for meetings of ITU-R study groups, ERC, Conference Preparatory Group, and ITU Radio Advisory Group. george.pritchard@ra.gsi.gov.uk
UK ITU-T The ITU-T fulfills the purposes of the ITU relating to telecommunications standardisation by studying technical, operating and tariff questions and adopting Recommendations on them with a view to standardising telecommunications on a worldwide basis.
