Criteria for Membership
|
Participation in UK delegations to CEPT and ITU meetings, and the associated
UK briefing meetings
Heads of UK delegations to CEPT and ITU meetings, and chairmen of the associated
UK briefing groups, should apply common criteria when considering requests for
participation of representatives of private companies in the delegation or briefing
meeting.
As a general rule the participant should represent a company fulfilling the
following criteria:
1. be a registered UK company
2. have substantial UK presence
3. be a UK registered ITU Sector Member in the ITU Sector relevant to the meeting
Heads of delegation and chairmen of briefing groups may agree to the participation
of representatives of companies that do not meet these criteria, on a case by
case basis, when they consider it would be of benefit to the UK, and providing
there is no objection from any authorised delegate or participant.
