CPG Terms of Reference

1. To provide a forum within CEPT/ERC to exchange views and coordinate proposals and briefings for ITU World Radiocommunication Conferences and Radiocommunication Assemblies.

2. To develop, as required, common positions in order to assist CEPT Administrations that are Members of the ITU Council to present a European position in respect of discussions concerning Conference agendas.

3. To develop common positions in respect of ITU Conference Preparatory Meetings.

4. To collect and harmonise points of view and policies in respect of European positions for Conferences and the Assemblies.

5. To develop European Common Proposals (ECPs) for the work of Conferences including proposals for a draft agenda for the next Conference and a preliminary agenda for the succeeding Conference.

6. To organise procedures to coordinate CEPT actions during the course of Conferences and Assemblies.

7. To prepare briefs for the members of CEPT national delegations in order to present the European positions at Conferences and Assemblies.

8. To seek the guidance and assistance of the ERO and the relevant ERC Working Groups.

9. To consult with various bodies, organisations or Administrations outside the CEPT, with the principal aim to collect information and to broaden the support of CEPT positions.
