Application for a Two-way Paging Licence by PageOne Communications Ltd - (Non-restricted Summary)

*

PageOne welcomes the RA conclusions from the Consultation, which has considered carefully industry representations. In particular, the need to secure the future of the Public Paging market in the United Kingdom, and Europe, together with confirmation of the demand for new services, which will facilitate further growth in the wireless massaging market.

PageOne believes that there is a 'window of opportunity' for further innovation in the industry with the introduction of two-way paging services opening up new markets for two-way communication, which so far has remained virtually untapped by existing alternatives.

PageOne has a clear track record for market innovation and service delivery to its customers in the past. There is a clear mandate to evolve paging and massaging services in the UK to meet the future needs of both consumers and business customers. PageOne can deliver this mandate through an innovative performance and clear market focus on massaging and telemetry services.

PageOne wishes to formally apply to the Radiocommunications Agency for a National Two-Way Wireless Telegraphy Act Licence, and associated radio spectrum to undertake this opportunity.
