Responses to the Radiocommunications Agency's consultation on the PMR (Standard) UK General Licence.
Following its recent consultation on the PMR (Standard) UK General Licence, the Agency is pleased to confirm that respondees welcomed the proposals, although clarification was requested in a number of areas. Clarification sought included the re-programming implications for existing radio equipment, whether there will be any degradation in communication service levels, the migration process and the proposed licence fee structure.
As well as responding individually to comments received during the consultation, the Agency will respond generally, setting out its findings and providing clarification, in its Spectrum Pricing Consultation Document scheduled for publication later this year.
The Agency is grateful to all those who took an interest and participated in this exercise.
