Responses to the Public Wireless Networks – Exemption Of User Stations consultation document |

The Radiocommunications Agency (RA) launched a consultation exercise on 4 November 2002 to seek views on the following proposals:
Proposal 1: Amending the definition of “User Station” to cover any customer of a licenced public network, irrespective of its fixed or mobile status; and
Proposal 2 : Whether the restriction on the type of service that may be provided via network User Stations be withdrawn.
The consultation exercise closed on 21 February 2003 and a total of 33 responses were received. The respondents and their responses are listed below. Some responses have been marked as confidential and as such will not be published.
