A report for the Radiocommunications Agency by University of Cardiff

Summary

The majority of existing frequency assignment algorithms utilise binary channel separation constraints to account for interference. It is investigated how multiple interference can be considered within the constraints used to generate a frequency assignment. An approach was developed to enable the reduction of the volume of higher-order constraints based on transmitter activity as measured by unattended monitoring stations (UMS).
