450-470MHz Band Re-alignment Open Forum - October 2003

The Spectrum Management Advisory Group (SMAG) are holding an open forum following the recent consultation by the Radiocommunications Agency on the 450-470 MHz Band Realignment Project. The consultation document and responses are available on the Radiocommunications Agency's website at www.radio.gov.uk. The objective of the event is to provide a forum for a wider discussion of Industry concerns and to explore possible ways forward.

SMAG is an Advisory Non-Departmental Public Body that reports directly to Ministers on strategic spectrum issues. Further information on SMAG may be found on the SMAG website at www.smag.radio.gov.uk .

The forum will be held on Friday 24 October 2003 at the Royal Society, 6-9 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1Y 5AG. Registration will be from 9.30 and the forum will take place between 10am and 1pm, followed by a buffet lunch.
