RADIO AUTHORITY PUBLISHES ASSESSMENT OF THE FIRST LOCAL DIGITAL MULTIPLEX LICENCE AWARD, BIRMINGHAM
The Radio Authority has published today (26 May) the details of its assessment of the first local digital radio multiplex licence award. The Authority awarded the licence to CE Digital Ltd on 6 May 1999 for coverage of Birmingham.

The Radio Authority is responsible for licensing and regulating Independent Radio in accordance with the statutory requirements of the Broadcasting Acts 1990 and 1996.
