NICC (UK interoperability Standards)
NICC is a technical forum for the UK communications sector that develops interoperability standards for public communications networks and services in the UK.
Historically NICC has been formally constituted as a committee reporting to the communications sector regulator Ofcom. In June 2008, NICC reformed as an independent industry body that is owned and managed by organisations involved in interoperability standards development.
NICC is now seeking applications for membership and from September 2008 it will be necessary to be a member in order to participate in NICC activities.
