Ofcom’s work around broadcast standards is one of the better-known aspects of what we do. But there are still lots of misunderstandings about the process we follow when dealing with complaints about TV and radio programmes.

We’ve received record numbers of complaints about TV and radio shows this year, and each one is carefully handled by our team of experts.

This week we’re also publishing our decisions on complaints we received about some high-profile television programmes.
