From 15 May, UK home phone and mobile users will benefit from price caps on calls and texts to home phone and mobile numbers of other EU countries.
The caps are:
The price caps apply to calls and texts to home phone and mobile numbers of another EU country.
These are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
The EU price cap will also apply to Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein, once the relevant legislation has been passed.
If you call someone travelling in one of the countries listed above but their number does not belong to one of those countries (for example if they are visiting France but have a Canadian number), the price caps will not apply.
