Ofcom has accredited the Broadband Compared price comparison service, which provides information to help consumers find the right broadband deal for them.
Ofcom only awards accreditation to price comparison services that been rigorously audited to make sure the information they offer is detailed, clear and accurate.
Broadband Compared offers details of available broadband deals, as well as guides, news and broadband tools such as a speed checker.
Lindsey Fussell, director of Ofcom’s consumer group, said: “Price comparison services help people to make informed choices about communications services, and therefore play a crucial role for consumers.
“By accrediting price comparison services that pass a rigorous audit, Ofcom helps consumers to be confident that the information they are receiving is thorough and accurate.”
