Ofcom has re-accredited the BroadbandDeals.co.uk price comparison service, which helps consumers to find broadband packages that are suitable for them.
Price comparison services only receive accreditation from Ofcom after they pass an audit to make sure the information they provide is thorough, clear and easy to understand.
A re-accreditation audit takes place 12 months after services are first accredited, and every 18 months after that.
BroadbandDeals.co.uk was first accredited by Ofcom in 2018.
Lindsey Fussell, director of Ofcom's Consumer and External Relations, said: “Price comparison services play a crucial role. They help consumers to make informed choices by providing clear information on services and costs.
“Ofcom’s accreditation scheme means consumers can be confident that the information they are receiving from these price comparison services is thorough and accurate.”
Ben Tibbits, director of Bonus Media Ltd, which operates BroadbandDeals.co.uk, said: “We're delighted to be accredited by Ofcom for the second time. The team is committed to constantly updating and improving the site to bring our users the widest possible choice of broadband deals, from the cheapest mobile data sims to the fastest gigabit home fibre connections.
“We're in a highly competitive market, so it's crucial that consumers know they can trust us to provide impartial price comparison, accurate information and honest advice - we're here to help them find the best deals.”
