We’re making some improvements to the Ofcom website, so it’s easier for you to benefit from our advice and support, and learn about what we’re up to.
Since we last updated our website we’ve been looking at how visitors use it and what they’re most interested in. We’ve used these insights to make some information more prominent, and make it easier for people to find.
We’ve made our news more prominent on the homepage, so you can see what we’ve been working on and how it benefits you.
We’re also making it easier for you to find the advice and information you want. For visitors who start their journey on the homepage, we’ve made the search function more visible and we’ve also made it easier to navigate to key topics. The new homepage layout also means we can promote different key topics when people need them the most.
We want to make it easier for people to understand the work that Ofcom does, and the areas covered by our work. So, we’ve updated this area so people can more easily understand who we are and what we do.
For people who want regular updates on our work, we have made it easier to sign up for our email updates. You can sign up quickly and easily (and of course our process complies with the latest data protection rules).
The website is also now more accessible, using colours and fonts that make it easier for everybody to use.
To ensure our Welsh language users have the same experience as our English users, we’ve also improved the website’s Welsh language functionality. This includes refining Welsh ‘Search’, language switching and making it easier to filter and find news and consultations.
We’re really excited about these changes, and we hope all of our visitors find the website more helpful and easier to use as a result of them.
