Content that is not a video

Ofcom regulates video-sharing platforms (VSPs) that are established in the UK. A VSP is a service that allow users to upload or share videos with other people. We have a list of notified platforms to which these rules apply.

At the moment, we do not regulate:

  • written content, such as comments or articles; or
  • individual images or photos.

If your complaint relates to any content that is not a video, please complain directly to the service.

If you are complaining about any other online service that is not a VSP, you can make a complaint.
