Renewal of the Independent National Radio licences

The UK’s three national analogue (FM and AM) commercial radio licences (currently held by Classic FM, TalkSport and Absolute Radio) are all due to expire in 2018, and the licensees can now apply to renew their licences for a further five-year period.

Ofcom has recently published its consultation on the methodology for reviewing the financial terms of these licences as part of the renewal process, and is seeking the views of stakeholders by 24 June 2016.

Further details can be found here.
