Connected Nations

Our annual Connected Nations report charts the UK’s evolving communications infrastructure, and our progress towards becoming genuinely connected nations.   We also publish two updates a year, one providing a mid-year update on coverage and another providing data on planned network deployment.

Connected Nations 2024 

This year’s Connected Nations report provides updated data on the coverage and usage of fixed broadband and mobile networks within the UK. This includes updates on take-up of services on full-fibre and gigabit-capable networks, reporting on the further development of 4G networks and progress on the rollout of 5G networks.

'Not-spot' data
