Ofcom has given its consent to a request from ITV and BBC for consent to broadcast exclusive live coverage of the UEFA European Football Championship Finals 2016.

We consulted in April 2016 on the requests. Ofcom received one response to the consultation in support of the request. After considering the response and information supplied by the BBC and ITV in support of their applications, Ofcom has decided to grant consent to the proposed coverage.
