Statement on regulations to update the fees for Shared Access licences

We are proposing to make new regulations (Proposed Regulations) that would amend the existing 2020 Regulations in relation to the amending the fees for the Shared Access licence product.

The Proposed Regulations would introduce fees for:

• the new frequency band 2320-2340 MHz that we have made available; and
• the new fee for Shared Access (Medium Power) licences in urban areas. The fee would increase from £80 to £160 for channels up to 10 MHz.

We are not proposing to change the fees for Shared Access (Medium Power) licences in urban areas in the 24.45-27.5 GHz band.
